Scientific discourse generally takes place in appropriate journals, using the language and conventions of science. That's fine, as long as the discourse remains in scientific circles. It is only outside those circles that the rules and techniques of engaging communication tools gain importance. That's where we can add value. Most media companies know precious little about science, and if we are honest, most scientists know precious little about media. The premise behind ScienceMedia is that together we can break new ground.
